Pastor Randy White is supporting Barack Obama

According to the Tampa Tribune, Evangelical Pastor Randy White is supporting Barack Obama in his 2008 run for the White House. In fact, the Federal Election Commission Records indicate that Pastor White has given $2000 to the Obama 2008 Campaign. In a blog posted on “The Rambling Prophet” Pastor White is quoted in an interview with the following statement: “The economy is a big issue, I think people are really tired of the war, and I love the way he communicates and touches people,”

Pastor White, if you would please sir, explain how a pro-abortion Presidential Candidate touches you on the abortion issue. Especially when he made a statement like this. “When it comes specifically to HIV/AIDS, the most important prevention is education, which should include — which should include abstinence education and teaching the children — teaching children, you know, that sex is not something casual. But it should also include — it should also include other, you know, information about contraception because, look, I’ve got two daughters. 9 years old and 6 years old. I am going to teach them first of all about values and morals. But if they make a mistake, I don’t want them punished with a baby. I don’t want them punished with an STD at the age of 16. You know, so it doesn’t make sense to not give them information.”

Pastor White, can you honestly say that God is leading you to support a man that believes this way to be the leader of our country.? What kind of Pastor can stand behind a man that would consider taking a baby’s life because it was a mistake? What about the sanctity of life? Is the voice of the child in the womb now being silenced in our churches as well? It would seem, based on Pastor White’s statement of support that the economy trumps the lives of the unborn. At least that’s the impression I have.

History offers many examples of societies which have sought to increase security by sacrificing freedom. America itself provides many pertinent instances. However, our founding fathers have not left us without wisdom on this issue. Ben Franklin has famously stated, “People willing to trade freedom for temporary security deserve neither and will lose both.” REAL ID undoubtedly exemplifies a scenario in which a difficult tension exists between freedom and security. By commandeering every state’s driver’s license issuing process, REAL ID threatens the results warned by Franklin – loss of both freedom and security. It has become the biometric enrollment phase of a plan to implement a terribly invasive tracking system, largely without public knowledge or approval. REAL ID is merely the current face of a far larger, international government and private economic effort to collect, store, and distribute the sensitive biometric data of citizens to use for the twin purposes of government tracking and economic control. At issue are much more than standardized or non-duplicative driver’s licenses. This effort extends worldwide, threatening every person alive today. Although very legitimate security concerns exist in this age of terrorism, this Act extends far beyond terrorism prevention or protection of the innocent. Keeping that broad picture in mind, let us move to some background behind the face of REAL ID implementation in America.

The REAL ID Act passed Congress in 2005 buried in a “must-pass” war funding and tsunami relief bill. The little debate in the House and total absence of debate in the Senate ensured that many Congressmen did not realize the full implications of REAL ID. Importantly, the desire by government and economic interests to implement a national tracking and ID system did not start with the REAL ID Act in 2005. Under the guise of security, it has been attempted numerous times in the past, even during Ronald Reagan’s administration. When former Attorney General William French Smith proposed to implement what he called a “perfectly harmless” national ID system as well as when a second cabinet member proposed to “tattoo a number on each American’s forearm,” Ronald Reagan responded, “My God, that’s the mark of the beast,” signaling an abrupt end to the national ID debate during the Reagan years.

Shoe Carnival, a major U.S. retailer, plans to help provide shoes for the needy next month through a partnership with Soles4Souls, an international ministry that also provides free shoes.

In September, a fundraising and shoe drive in all 300 U.S. Shoe Carnival locations will provide a chance to either make a $2 donation covering the cost of a pair of free shoes, or donate gently worn shoes in exchange for a $5 coupon. Soles4Souls founder and CEO Wayne Elsey says the need is great, and that shoe and money donations will make a huge impact on the lives of thousands of children in desperate need.

“We just gave away 333,000 pairs of shoes in the U.S., right in our backyard. And I had people tell me ‘You know, Wayne, this is the difference between a meal or a gallon of milk for my kids’ — because we gave them back-to-school shoes.”

It is estimated there are 300 million children around the world without shoes. Soles4Souls says it has distributed more than three million pieces of footwear in more than 60 countries.

Christian actor and evangelist Kirk Cameron says he wishes he felt better about this year’s presidential race.

Cameron is known most recently for his starring roles in three movies based on the best-selling Left Behind book series. Also, he is cohost of the weekly Way of the Master television show with Ray Comfort. That ministry teaches Christians to witness as Jesus did, using God’s law to bring about the knowledge of sin.

Next month, Cameron’s latest project hits the big screen. Fireproof is the latest movie from Sherwood Baptist Church, which produced Flywheel and Facing the Giants. In the movie, Cameron plays a firefighter whose marriage is in serious trouble.

Regarding the upcoming election, he says he has more faith in evangelism than politics. ”The hope for our country is not going to be who governs us as a nation; it’s really not in the laws that govern us so much as it is in the power of God working in the hearts of people,” Cameron explains in an interview with The Associated Press.

Cameron says he wishes he felt better about this year’s presidential candidates. ”I enjoyed watching Rick Warren’s forum with Obama and McCain. You know, it’s just one of those deals where you want the godliest man possible in there – and frankly, I wish I felt better about both of the candidates this year,” he adds.

PORTLAND, Ore. – Most states don’t recognize same-sex “marriage” – but now Hallmark does. The nation’s largest greeting card company is rolling out homosexual wedding cards – featuring two tuxedos, overlapping hearts or intertwined flowers, with best wishes inside. “Two hearts. One promise,” one says.

Hallmark added the cards after California joined Massachusetts as the only U.S. states with legal homosexual marriage. A handful of other states have recognized same-sex civil unions. The language inside the cards is neutral, with no mention of wedding or marriage, making them also suitable for a commitment ceremony. Hallmark says the move is a response to consumer demand, not any political pressure. “It’s our goal to be as relevant as possible to as many people as we can,” Hallmark spokeswoman Sarah Gronberg Kolell said.

Hallmark’s largest competitor, American Greetings Corp., has no plans to enter the market, saying its current offerings are general enough to speak to a lot of different relationships.

Hallmark started offering “coming out” cards last year, and the four designs of same-sex marriage cards are being gradually released this summer and will be widely available by next year. No sales figures were available yet.

The Williams Institute at the UCLA School of Law estimates that more than 85,000 same-sex couples in the United States have entered into a legal relationship since 1997, when Hawaii started offering some legal benefits to same-sex partners. It estimates nearly 120,000 more couples will marry in California during the next three years – and that means millions of potential dollars for all sorts of wedding-industry businesses.

Hallmark, known more for its Midwest mores than progressive greetings, has added a wider variety lately. It now offers cards for “difficulty getting pregnant” or “going through rehab.”

The Greeting Card Association, a trade group, says it does not track how many companies provide same-sex cards but believes the number is expanding. “The fact that you have someone like Hallmark going into that niche shows it’s growing and signals a trend,” said Barbara Miller, a spokeswoman for the association.

Hallmark says all of its stores can choose whether they want to add the latest offerings.

For once I actually AGREE with the Catholic church on something. There is no doubt that the Catholic church and me do NOT agree on Doctrinal issues and we are not likely to see eye to eye on them any time soon. However, on this issue we most certainly agree. The truth is this MUST open a wound for ALL TRUE born again Bible believing Christians. Those that believe every Word in the Bible is the inspired Word of God and it cannot be taken lightly nor can any part of it just be tossed aside because it doesn’t fit our personal thought or desire for today. By the way as you will see even the Catholic church will NOT stand behind you if you support the MURDERING of helpless unborn children. So you can’t be a Catholic and an abortion supporter at the same time either. So why do you Christians think you can be a Christian and a murderer too?

In all honesty I am sickened by all the so called Christians, Pastors, ministers and those that lead others in religious matters backing Obama and calling their people to do the same thing. Have you lost your MINDS? How can any one back some one that is FOR abortion not just while it is inside the mothers womb helpless but also after one is born and some how survived the horrible procedure of RIPPING the baby limb from limb and sucking it’s brain’s out with a vacuum. Obama voted to MAKE the Doctors leave that baby to lay there and DIE because it was unwanted.

No, I am sorry to tell you but you cannot have both worlds. You either support God and everything He stands for and you back it no matter what it costs you OR you are totally against God in everything you do. God will look at those who have supported this kind of demonic trash and tell them to depart from Him because they are workers of iniquity. Look it up for yourself, and see if this is not correct. Read the article for yourself and see which side of the fence you are one, you cannot straddle this fence. It’s one side or the other. Life or death, you choose!!!

The Roman Catholic group, Fidelis, says Barack Obama’s selection of pro-abortion Catholic Joe Biden to be his V.P. running mate “is a slap in the face to Catholic voters” and poses a major challenge for American Catholics.

In a press release sent out overnight, Fidelis president, Brian Burch, declared that Barack Obama has “re-opened a wound among American Catholics” by picking a pro-abortion Catholic politician like Joe Biden.

According to Burch, the American Catholic bishops have made it clear that Catholic political leaders must defend the dignity of every human person, including the unborn.

” Sadly, Joe Biden’s tenure in the United States Senate has been marked by steadfast support for legal abortion” he added.

During the recent Democratic primary campaign Biden said: I am a long-standing supporter of Roe v Wade and a woman’s right to choose.”

Burch notes that in 2004, John Kerry’s support of abortion sparked a nationwide controversey over whether Catholics who support legal abortion can receive

communion.

Burch says “now, everywhere Biden campaigns, we’ll have this question of whether a pro-abortion Catholic can receive Communion.”

“Senator Biden is an unrepentant supporter of abortion in direct opposition to the church he claims as his own. Selecting a pro-abortion Catholic is a slap in the face to Catholic voters,” said Burch.

According to Burch, “The American bishops have instructed Catholic voters to consider many issues, but have characterized the defense of human life as foundational and have explained that the issue has a special claim on the conscience of the Catholic voter. This means that a political candidate like Biden, because of his strong support for abortion rights, forfeits any claim for support despite his views on other issues like health care and the economy.”

HOW Can a “Christian” Support Obama???

Please help me understand this one. Abortion, gay rights and all the other trash he believes in and supports. HOW can any one call themselves a Christian and support this anti-Christ of a man?

Some prominent charismatic leaders in Florida are throwing their support behind Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama.

The Tampa Tribune reports controversial pastor Randy White of the Without Walls megachurch in Tampa is supporting Barack Obama and believes his estranged wife and former partner in the church, Paula White, does also.

According to Federal Election Commission records, Paula White gave Obama’s campaign $2,300, while her husband donated $2,000 to Obama’s White House bid. She is currently under investigation by the Senate Finance Committee for allegedly using the church’s tax-free status to buy lavish furnishings for her personal use.

Without Walls International Church did not respond to AFN’s request for an interview with Randy White.

What’s driving Todd Bentley? Why do thousands of people flock to his revival meetings?

Some reasons are obvious. Many seek healing, financial success, spiritual experiences and sensual thrills. After all, Bentley puts on quite a show! Known for his heavenly visions, angelic “partners,” mystical tattoos, and irreverent “teaching,” he makes them laugh. One of his many Youtube performances includes this outrageous dialogue with an unbiblical “God”:

“The woman was standing in the back of the room when the faith of God hit the meeting, and her tumor exploded out of her right leg, slid down her leg onto the floor! … [God] said, ‘…I want you to grab that lady’s crippled legs and bang them up-and-down on the platform like a baseball bat.’ [loud laughter] … I grabbed her legs, and I started going, BAM! BAM! …banging them…. She got healed!…
